Training Camps 2026

Our main training camp in 2026 will be delivered in collaboration between ITR Coaching & Precision Coaching. This pooling of skills and resources will allow us to:

1) Provide more coaches' skillsets and experiences

2) Support a range of groups for the bike rides

3) Deliver intimate coach to athlete ratios

4) Attract and support more athletes

About the Camp

We have used ANFI Sports Academy as our training camp destination in 2024 and 2025, and it provides everything we need to have the best training week.

2026 will be 6-days of coach-led training, with daily technique sessions in the pool, followed by some hilly miles on the bike. The area provides us with some huge climbs along with some speedy descents with some great food and coffee stops along the way.

TREK or Orbea Road Bike

Included for the duration of your stay; 11-speed, disc brakes, saddle bag with puncture repair kit, rear light

Just bring your pedals, shoes and helmet

25m Swimming Pool

On-site pool to practice skills and technique under the supervision of Coach George.

Lane with mirrored floor to provide in-the-moment visual feedback from technique adjustments.

Also available; video analysis session with ANFI sporting director, former olympian

Beach Club

Just a 10min shuttle away is the beach club, where we have access to a a secluded cove, perfect for kicking back and chilling out.

There are also a host of cafes and restaurants along the promenade for a lunchtime feed.

Incredible Cycling Routes

There are plenty of coastal roads and mountains to climb, including the aptly named "serenity climb" pictured here.

Downtime

Even the fittest athletes need some rest time. ANFI has a number of leisure pools, restaurant and bar, and access to the sister resort situated on the beach front.

Bring your partner/spouse and family to enjoy a holiday with when you're finished training.

Open Water Swimming

The Beach Club is also where there is a secluded swimming lane in the sea with turning platforms to practice swimming in the open water.

Fellow Athletes

Genuine friendships were formed this year, brace yourself to meet some fellow awesome people, who may potentially be training for the same event as you, or to sign up to future events with.

Family Friendly

It's tough to get a week away from the kids, so don't, bring them too (providing you bring another adult to look after them!).

Train hard in the morning, relax with your loved ones in the afternoon, a perfect combo. And with 2-bedroom self-contained apartments, you don't have to worry about where everyone sleeps.

5* Accommodation

The apartments are fully kitted out with everything you need to be comfortable away from home. Available with either 1 or 2 bedrooms, you get a fully function kitchen, cooker, fridge freezer, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher & even a washing machine to keep you in fresh training kit.

Relax in the jacuzzi bath or on the loungers on the balcony, you'll feel in paradise.

Schedule

As always we try to mould the week's training around the athletes attending and their specific needs.

2026 will have multiple coaches attending, so we'll be able to cater to a wider range of abilities, so fear not, you'll be looked after!

Destination

ANFI Sports Academy, based at the ANFI Emerald in Gran Canaria, is a luxury resort made up of 1 and 2-bedroom 5* apartments.

Situated 5min from the beach, it is located perfectly for coastal and mountain rides of upmost beauty.
