The Lone Wolf Endurance Athlete
Introduction:
Do you struggle to make training sessions run by your local triclub or running group? Do the sessions clash with work/childcare/general life? Do you feel that group sessions are too hard, or too easy and hold you back, or maybe just not specific to your personal training goals? Or maybe you feel anxious about training with other people?
Whatever your reasons for training alone, it can sometimes leave you feeling cut-off from other athletes who share your passion and journey.
This blog will help share useful tips to improve your training efficiency, quality and enjoyment, and also help fellow lone wolf athletes feel connected.
"I continue to this day to do 99% of my training alone, not because I'm unsociable, but because I'm tight on time and have a continously changing schedule - Coach George"
As a coach I strive to help athletes who train under similar constraints or preferences, and understand it's ok not to be a regular attendee at your local triclub sessions.
